HP Business Inkjet 2200 Series Printers - Uninstaller Failed to Initialize Error Appears When Installing the Printer Driver

ISSUE: When attempting to install the printer, the following error appears: "Uninstaller failed to initialize. You may not be able to uninstall this product."

Nothing appears to happen after running the uninstaller. All attempts to reinstall the printer driver produce the same error.

SOLUTION: The printer driver must be removed from the system manually.
