HP LaserJet 1100 Series Printer - Set Up of the Product on a Peer-to-Peer Network

ISSUE: What are the steps for setting up the HP LaserJet 1100 product on a Peer-to-Peer network?
SOLUTION: The following directions explain how to configure the device on a peer-to-peer network in Windows 95 or 98.
NOTE: This document outlines the procedures for sharing a printer using Microsoft Windows Sharing (Peer-to-Peer networking). If these procedures are not successful, click here to contact Microsoft Non-HP site (http://www.microsoft.com). HP does not support Peer-to-Peer networking, as the feature is a function of Microsoft operating systems and not of the HP printer drivers.
NOTE: You may set up the HP LaserJet 1100/1100A product so that it is directly attached to your computer and shared across the network. This configuration will only allow printing, however, not scanning.
