HP LaserJet 2100 and 2200 Series Products - Description of PJL Commands and DEFAULTS.PJL

Printer job language (PJL) commands and descriptions

When operating in a DOS environment and the Remote Control Panel is not functional or accessible, printer defaults may be set by editing the DEFAULTS.PJL file. This file can be copied to the hard drive and accessed using the DOS Editor. If it has already been copied to the hard drive, this file might exist under the root directory or in the HPLJUTIL directory.

For the HP LaserJet 2100 and 2200 products, the DEFAULTS.PJL file is located on the CD in the ENGLISH/DOS directory.

In the tables below are the PJL commands, description and value range for the PJL commands that are associated with the HP LaserJet 2100 and 2200 products.
