HP LaserJet 9000, 9000mfp, 9040mfp and 9050mfp Series Printers - Edge to Edge Printing Specification

ISSUE: What is the specification for edge to edge printing on the HP LaserJet 9000, 9000mfp, 9040mfp, and 9050mfp series printers?
SOLUTION: The HP LaserJet 9000, 9000mfp, 9040mfp, or 9050mfp printers, when set up to print in edge to edge mode using either the driver or the control panel, will print up to 2 mm away from the edge of the paper on all four sides.
SUMMARY: The reason for this is because there must be a 2 mm unprintable area on the page to keep toner from falling off of the edge of the paper and into the paper path and engine.
