HP Business Monitors - Optimizing the Display on Flat Panel Monitors
HP flat panel monitors contain a digital Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and typically contain an analog to digital conversion (ADC) module to support the legacy analog video cards. ADC modules have improved in recent years to accommodate the auto-adjust function on the most monitors. However, the ADC modules are limited by the following:
NOTE: HP monitors using digital connections (DisplayPort, HDMI, or DVI connections) are not subject to the same limitations as analog connections (VGA, S-video, composite, and component connections). For more information about digital and analog connections, see TV Cable and Connection Types .
