HP Deskjet F2200 All-in-One series - Aligning Ink Cartridges

Introduction

This document provides steps to align ink cartridges from the All-in-One control panel or the computer.

Aligning ink cartridges

Follow one of these methods to align the ink cartridges.

Method one: Print an alignment page using the All-in-One control panel

After the product prints an alignment page, follow these steps to complete the alignment process.

  1. Make sure that there is letter or A4 unused plain white paper loaded in the input tray.

  2. Life the product lid.

  3. Place the cartridge alignment sheet print-side down on the left, front corner of the glass with the top of the page to the left.

  4. Press the Scan button ().

    The product aligns the cartridges. Recycle or discard the cartridge alignment sheet.

Method two: Print an alignment page using the computer

Follow these steps to align the cartridges from the computer using the HP Photosmart software.

  1. Make sure there is letter or A4 unused plain white paper loaded in the input tray.

  2. Double-click the HP Digital Imaging Monitor icon () on the lower-right side of the task bar.

    The HP Solution Center displays.

  3. Click the Device Services tab, and then click Align the Print Cartridges.

    The product prints an ink cartridge alignment sheet.

    NOTE: Printing alignment sheets shortens the life of ink cartridges. Print them only when necessary.
  4. Load the ink cartridge alignment sheet print-side down on the left-front corner of the glass.

  5. Press the Scan button ().

    The product aligns the ink cartridges. Recycle or discard the ink cartridge alignment sheet.
