HP 10GbE Ethernet Pass-Thru Module for c-Class BladeSystem - Link Flap Detected

Issue

Under certain circumstances, a link flap at the NIC or uplink side can cause a condition to occur that causes the links to begin flapping constantly. This will not come out of it; thereby causing loss of network connectivity.

Solution

Upgrade the Pass-Thru module firmware to version 1.0.7.0 as follows:

  1. Open the HP website. Click here to open HP web page at: http://www.hp.com.

  2. Select Support & Drivers.

  3. Select Download drivers and software (and firmware).

  4. Enter the following product "HP 10GbE Ethernet Pass-Thru Module".

  5. Select the Operating System.

  6. Download and update the Pass-Thru module Firmware to version 1.0.7.0.
