HP Scanjet - Third-party scan software solutions
HP provides software and drivers for most HP Scanjet scanner models and these solutions satisfy the scanning needs of most users. However, some scan features required by some users are not provided with the HP software solutions that either come with the scanner or are available for download from www.hp.com/go/support , and some Scanjets do not have an HP software solution.
This document describes scan software alternatives that users might consider as solutions for use with HP Scanjet scanners in Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. While HP neither directly supports nor endorses these solutions, HP does acknowledge that these are good solutions that might satisfy some user needs.
