Solution

The 3COM 3C905 NIC does not work in the HP Netserver LC II with the e3H driver included in SCO OpenServer 5.0.4 Release Supplement 5.0.4c. Contact SCO Support for the latest 3COM 3C905 NIC driver.

The HP Network Interface Card (NIC) D5013A and J3171A driver is not compatible with the 3COM 3C905 NIC driver for SCO UNIX ® 3.2v4.2, Open DeskTop 3.0 and OpenServer 3.0. If you need more than one NIC in your system you could use two 3COM 3C905 NICs.

HP D5013A and J3171A NIC driver only supports one card in SCO 3.0, and SCO 5.0.x

If you have an HP NetServer LC II and are running the SCO 3.0 and SCO OpenServer 5.0.x, you may only have one HP D5013A or J3171A network card installed in the system.
