This package contains the Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft Windows XP driver for the HP WLAN W400-W500 Adapter.

PURPOSE: Routine

- Adds support for WiFi protected access 2 (WPA2), Extensible Authentication Protocol-Fast Authentication via Secure Tunneling (EAP-FAST), and Cisco Compatible Extentions (CCX) 3.0.

- Provides stronger encryption with WPA2 using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

NOTE: After the files are unpacked, the Setup program runs automatically. If the setup program (Setup.exe) needs to be run manually, look for it in the download directory.

  • Fixes issue with IP Communicator that occurs when running Atheros Driver version 4.0.100.140a, where the IP Communicator stops responding (crashes) when placing or receiving phone calls over wireless connections.
